Control for Modified University of Cape Town Process Using Oxidation-Reduction Potential in the Second Anoxic Zone

The aim of this work is to evaluate the feasibility of applying the technology of oxidation-reduction potential(ORP)control on the municipal wastewater treatment system for nitrogen and phosphorus removal.Meanwhile the relation between the optimal ORP(ORP opt)and influent C/N ratio was evaluated,in which the influent chemical oxygen demand(COD)concentration was stabilized at(290±10)mg/L,the influent total phosphorus(TP)concentration was stabilized at(7.0±0.5)mg/L.The results indicated that:(1)the ORP in the second anoxic zone had effect on nitrogen and phosphorus removal capability,and the average percentages of phosphorus uptake in ANO2zone(ηa)increased with increasing ORP,i.e.,increasing from 12.0%at-143 mV to22.0%,30.0%,37.0%,and 45.0%at-123,-111,-105 and-95 mV,respectively;(2)the ORP opt as function of influent C/N ratio could be calculated by the equation:y=252.73e(-x/3.39)-131.01;the maximum percentage of phosphorus uptake in ANO2as function of the ORP opt could be calculated by the equation:y=-0.49 e(x/15.58)+1.51.The ORP opt was the important process control parameter that must be optimized for operation of enhanced biological phosphorus removal(EBPR)system.Moreover,ORP sensor is very simple,and the industrial applications of this strategy is practical.     

Nonlinear RCMC method for spaceborne/airborne forward-looking bistatic SAR

In the spaceborne/airborne forward-looking bistatic synthetic aperture radar (SA-FBSAR),due to the system platforms’ remarkable velocity difference and the forward-looking mode,the range cell migration (RCM) not only depends on the target’s twodimensional location,but also varies with the range location nonlinearly.And the nonlinearity is not just the slight deviation from the linear part,but exhibits evident nonlinear departure in the RCM trajectory.If the RCM is not properly corrected,nonlinear image distortions would occur.Based on the RCM model,a modified two-step RCM compensation (RCMC) method for SA-FBSAR is proposed.In this method,firstly the azimuth-dependent RCM is compensated by the scaling Fourier transform and the phase multiplication.And then the range-dependent RCM is removed through interpolation.The effectiveness of the proposed RCMC method is verified by the simulation results of both point scatterers and area targets.

高校实验室废液中Cr(VI)的测定及处理方法

Cr(VI)是对环境有害的主要重金属之一,实验室含Cr(VI)废液不能直接排放,必须进行回收处理。采用间接碘量法测定含Cr(VI)废液的浓度;化学还原法处理含Cr(VI)废液,研究以硫酸亚铁为还原剂还原Cr(VI)废液的酸度条件、还原剂用量、反应时间等影响因素。结果表明:在最佳条件下,以硫酸亚铁为还原剂处理,废液达到了国家排放标准,取得了良好的处理效果。     

青藏高原腹地第四纪地质环境演化的地球动力学机制

根据古季风变化与生物生产总量之间的耦合关系，结合区域地质演变和地球卫星遥感影像解译成果，对引起高原内部古气候环境变化发展过程的启动激发因素和相互耦合机制及其驱动传递效应进行探索研究，这个方向目前仍然属于高原地质环境演变及全球变化的前沿领域。     

A blind watermarking algorithm resisting to geometric transforms based on SVD

A new watermarking algorithm resisting to geometric transformation based on singular value decomposition(SVD) in logarithm polar coordinate is proposed.The log-polar mapping(LPM) is used to resist rotation and scaling attacks,and the odd-even quantization algorithm is used to embed watermark so it can be extracted without the original host image.The experiments show that the proposed algorithm not only resists various geometric attacks but also is robust enough to the common signal processing.
